Talk as much as you like. It is great to hear what others have to say. Thanks for suggesting lavender essential oil for sleep, but I need something much more potent. Melatonin is supposed to help one sleep, but I have taken three tablets at once, hoping that I could just use melatonin for sleep; however, it did not help at all.

I recommend CBD oil. My 15 year old has trouble sleeping. Prescription medications, OTC sleep medications, essential oils, nothing worked. An acquaintance recommended CBD oil. After a week of taking CBD oil before bedtime, my daughter is sleeping all night! CBD oil can be bought at most health nutrition stores.

Hi Veronica and all. I don't post here much, but just thought I would chime in here about sleep problems. I have heard lots of different theory's about blind people with sleep trouble. Some doctors will tell you that if you have some light perception, then your biological clock is backwards and because there is not enough stimulation getting to the back of the eye this will cause difficulty getting to sleep.
Some have trouble getting to sleep, then other have trouble staying asleep.
You might try melatonin with magnesium. That is a cablit with malatnim and magnesium combined.

I'll try and post here more often.
I have been having a really hard getting sleep. Does anyone have any ideas?
I really hate taking more medication. She did increase one of the
medications and it's helped my Tremors. The tremors seem to happen
either when I am stressed out, or when I wake up.

I’m not the only one then! Still everyone said our hurricane was
really bad. I think nine or ten people were killed and we lost a
million trees in one small town alone. My blind school was right in
the middle of that town and mum cried the first time we drove back as
the destruction was so terrible as some of the trees were hundreds of
years old. Love emma

That is really sad and I know how lucky I am to be able to sleep
through nearly anything. In fact when we had our only hurricane in
the u.k. I slept right through it. Love emma

I'm like you, Don, three things to sleep, and one is prescribed. The doctors know. I mean, this has been like for 25 years, and I've gone to about five different doctors over that period of time.

Hi do either of you use lavender essential oil as that is great to
help with. Not being ab le. To sleep. I’m afraid I’m the other way.
I have trouble waking up in the morning so I won’t talk too much or
you will all linch me! Put a few drops on your pillow and rub a drop
or two on your forehead and it smells really nice and helps mum.
